Description
This screensaver
shows the activities within an enchanted Toy Shop. As darkness falls, and the shop closes, see
the toys come to life and get up to all kinds of mischief! Our very first
interactive screensaver, you can use your mouse to pan round the Toy Shop,
look into Santa's grotto, or out through the window into the street to
watch the passers-by and the snow falling... If you wish to return to your
work, nudging the mouse will not remove the screensaver from your screen;
you need to strike any key on your keyboard. The file size is 6.5Mb, so
it may take some minutes to load. Share it!
This
screensaver is shareware, produced entirely for fun purposes only. Tell
your friends and colleagues where they can download their copy from...

Platform
This product runs best on a screen display set to 800 x 600
resolution at 16-bit (thousands of colours) or higher. It is still
viewable at other resolutions,even at 640 x 480, where only the extreme
edges will be lost. A Pentium II- 266 with 64MB RAM or better is
recommended. As this is screensaver is designed to reveal itself bit by
bit throughout the month of December, please make sure that in your
Control Panel ... Regional Settings ... Time dialogue box you have
hh:mm:ss set as the time display option. The screensaver may get confused
if you use AM/PM settings.
To install
Run
Magictoyshop.exe, and the screensaver will be copied over to your Windows
directory then automatically set as the current screensaver. You can then
set when you wish it to appear using the Display Properties ...
Screensaver dialogue boxes. There are a few seconds when your screen will
go black while the screensaver initialises: this is normal.
