Our December, 2000 holiday letter

Karin, Sean, and Michael StockwellDylan ("Big D"), Lynda, and Dean MuellerWhen we look back over the years, the times we’ve spent with all of you are the ones we remember most fondly. It’s our relationships with each other, our families, and our friends that make us feel most grateful and fulfilled. And as we’ve said before, we always enjoy company from out of town, so if any of you are contemplating a visit to the Northwest— "Mi Casa es Su Casa"

Of course, we can’t count all our blessings without including Mason. He is truly a gift to us. Watching a child grow and learn is so rewarding— his each new discovery reminding us of simple pleasures and pure joy. We often wonder what we laughed about before he became part of our lives. Mason is a very easy-going, happy little boy. He loves people, music, and life in general. Much of our days are filled with playing with, reading to, and above all loving this little person in our midst!More photos...More photos...

Lastly, we reflect on the valuable insights we’ve gained the last few years—insights that have helped us simplify our lives and make room for what’s really important to us: each other, Mason, our friends, families, community, and the planet we all share. For this, we give thanks.

So for this holiday season we wish you and your loved ones peace, contentment, serenity, mindfulness, love, and health. Amid the mad commercial hustle of the holidays, try to remember that this time of year is Nature’s time of rest, quiet, and regeneration. We could all benefit from paying closer attention to that.

May the spirit of the season
fill your hearts.

Love,

Sharon, Brian, Mason, and Mingus
